As I mentioned to Catherine of Avery Winslow, I'd like to travel back in time to thank the inventor of plastic. Without it, this very rainy weekend at the Renegade Craft Fair wouldn't have been possible.
Thankfully, people who have to brave below zero temperatures, howling winds, snow, and ice for seven months every year don't let a little 48 hour rainstorm keep them indoors. So I'd like to express my gratitude to all the shoppers who wandered Division Street this weekend. Pruney fingers and all, I had a great time!
I picked up my beautiful Headdress Ring from Brooke Medlin, who was also a vendor this year. I love, love, love it and wore it all weekend! It's super sturdy and, at the same time, there's something very delicate and light about it. Thanks, Brooke!
On Sunday, my tent sprung so many leaks that I was sure we had our own little rain cloud inside the tent. After thinking about it for about a half hour, my mom and I strung one of the sidewall doors over the table to catch the water. Because of this, I was only able to use one table on Sunday, and you can see my abbreviated display below.
Thanks again to everyone who came out to support all thing handmade! And if you're in the DC area, come see me at Crafty Bastards on September 28!

I'm so glad you were able to rig your tent up and make it through Sunday! I liked your display, actually. I did a similar, simpler set up on Sunday and I think people liked it better.
It was so (so!) great to meet you, and see your lovely work in person.
